Your green thumb may be a little out of practice, and sometimes you might forget to water your indoor plants. But here's a simple, stunning project to help cultivate your inner gardener. The best part? These plants bring much more than good looks to your living space-dracaena helps cleanse the air, and the medicinal aloe soothes scrapes and cuts.
Step-by-Step
- Fill a galvanized tub with soil to a few inches from the top.
- Arrange and plant the medicinal aloe and dracaena.
- Pour sand on top of the soil around the plants, and even it out.
- Place the planter in medium light, and add water when the soil feels dry.
