Instructions

General: Cut and label the parts as needed, using the Cut List and Cutting Diagram as guides and adjusting for fit.

Step 1Step 1: Position the legs on the top.
a. Place the straight-top plates 3/4 inch from each corner of the (01) top, and attach the plates with the screws included in the packaging.
b. Screw the (02) legs into the straight-top plates as shown in Figure 1. Mark each (02) leg (example: A, B, C, D), and mark a corresponding mark on the (01) top, so you can place the (02) legs in the same spot later. Also, mark the edges that face in. Remove the (02) legs after marking them.

Step 2Step 2: Attach the cleats and skirts.
a. Attach two (03) cleats to the inside edge of each (02) leg using glue and 4d nails as shown in Figure 2. Each pair of (03) cleats should be flush with the top of each (02) leg.
b. Screw the leg assemblies into the straight-top plates. Measure the distance between the (02) legs (at the top endofthe leg assemblies) foreach side of the (01) top. Cut to fit the (04) skirts.
Step 3c. Attach the (04) skirts to the (03) cleats with glue and 1-inch brads so that they are flush with the tops of the (02) legs (see Figure 3).

Step 3: Attach the edging and moulding.
a. Scribe and miter-cut to fit the (05) moulding. Using glue and 3/4-inch brads, attach the (05) moulding on all four sides where the (01) top, (02) legs, and (04) skirts meet. See Figure 4.
b. Scribe and miter-cut to fit the (06) edging. Attach the (06) edging to all four edges of the (01) top using glue and 1-inch brads.

Step 4Step 4: Apply finishing touches.
a. Fill all holes with wood filler, and sand smooth.
