Franken Fingers

Guests will do a double take with this creepy-crawly "finger" food.

Prep: 15 minutes Stand: 30 minutes

8 ounces white candy coating, chopped
24 pretzel rods or thin bread sticks
24 sliced almonds

1. Line a large baking sheet or tray with waxed paper.

2. In a medium saucepan heat and stir white candy coating over medium-low heat until coating is just melted.

3. Hold each pretzel rod by one end over the pan and spoon melted coating evenly over half of the pretzel; shake off excess. Place pretzel on the prepared cookie sheet. Add a sliced almond to the tip of the dipped pretzel. Repeat with remaining rods. Let stand 30 to 45 minutes or until coating is set. Makes 24 fingers.
