Get a fresh fall look with this colorful, easy-to-make wreath.

Hang this floral foam wreath on a door, in a hall, or above a mantel for a fresh fall look. Or, place an LED candle (#107850 or #138843, available in October) in the middle and let it be the star on a tabletop. You can find floral foam wreaths at craft stores for $3 to $6, depending on size.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Soak a floral foam wreath in water. For longer-lasting wreaths, add floral preservative to the water.

Step 2: Cut blooms with 2" to 3" stems from large mum plants. Strip leaves from stems. One 12" wreath will need approximately 100–125 blossoms.

Step 3: Poke the mum stems into the floral foam and overlap petals for fullness. Use flowers from different-colored mums for a variegated design.

Step 4: Mist the wreath with water daily, and it will stay fresh for several days.
