Paintbrush Santa Ornament

This jolly St. Nick is the do-it-yourselfer’s ideal Christmas decoration.

Paintbrush Santa

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Paint the brush handle red and allow to dry completely.

Step 2: Paint pink stripes on the paintbrush handle; let dry.

Step 3: Using the white paint and a swirling motion, add the “fur lining” of Santa’s hat.

Step 4: Insert the screw eye into a cedar ball, turning until it’s secured in place (we used pliers). Paint it white and allow it to dry.

Step 5: Use a Sharpie to create eyes. Paint the cheeks pink.

Step 6: Use scissors to trim the brush to create the look of Santa’s beard.

Step 7: Attach the cedar ball to the hole in the handle with a piece of twine. Add a length of twine or ribbon as a hanger.
