LockersPersonalize a cabinet for your child’s storage. Approximate cost: $215* (per locker)

Step-by-Step
  1. Prime and paint the exterior of a tall utility cabinet (#66392) in the color of your choice.
  2. Use a color copier to enlarge and copy one of the animal designs from the wallpaper border (Norwall, Watch Me Grow, Model GU79238, Special Order). Also make a color copy of a favorite photo of your child. Attach the copied photo to the wallpaper photocopy using all-purpose glue. Apply a thin layer of glue to the back of the completed piece, and attach to the locker’s front.
  3. Cut a piece of peg-board (#15497) to fit the inside the middle cubby of the cabinet. Paint as desired, and let dry.
  4. Cut four pieces from a 1 x 2 board to create a nailing frame that fits the back of the peg-board piece. Attach the 1 x 2 pieces to the middle cubby interior edges, using glue and 4d nails. Attach the peg-board to the 1 x 2 frame using 1/2-inch wood screws.
  5. Attach a coat hook (#198547) to the interior cabinet wall, and add a knob (#228250) to the door using the included hardware.
