Cut and label the parts as needed, using the Cut List and Cutting Diagram as guides and adjusting for fit.

1 Build and join the end assemblies.

a. Following the side layout in Figure 1, build two end assemblies with the (01) stiles, (02) end rails, and (03) end stretchers using glue and pocket hole screws.

b. Join the end assemblies by attaching the (04) bottom side rails and (05) top side rails to the end assemblies using glue and pocket hole screws as shown in Figure 2.

 

2 Build and attach the center rail assemblies.

a. Scribe a centerline across the width on the face of the (06) center rails.

b. Scribe a centerline across the length on the face of the (07) center stretchers.

c. Position two (06) center rails edge down and parallel to each other on a flat work surface. Position a (07) center stretcher between the (06) center rails with the edges and centerlines flush as shown in Figure 3. Attach using glue and pocket hole screws.

d. Repeat to create a second center rail assembly.

e. Position the center rail assemblies flush with the (03) end stretchers and flush with inside edges of the (01) stiles as shown in Figure 3, and attach using glue and 6d finishing nails.

 

3 Attach the cleats and bottom.

a. Turn the assembly upside down. Position the (08) side cleats flush with the bottom of the (01) stiles and (04) bottom side rails as shown in Figure 4.Attach using glue andpocket hole screws at the ends and outer sides of the (08) side cleats.

b. Position the (09) end cleats flush with the edges of the (08) side cleats and (02) side rails as shown in Figure 4. Attach using glue and pocket hole screws at the ends and outer sides of the (09) end cleats.

c. Position the assembly right side up. Attach the (10) bottom to the (08) side cleats and (09) end cleats using glue and 1 1/4-inch screws as shown in Figure 5.

 

4 Apply finishing touches.

a. Fill all holes; sand, prime, and paint.

b. Attach the casters to the (08) side cleats, (01) stiles, and (04) bottom side rails using 1 1/4-inch screws.

Great little project for the kids.
Nice job with the reference docs. Particularly liked the lay-out of the assembly -- made it easier to understand and conceptualize.
